This is a fast-developing space, but research increasingly shows the merits of high-quality content written by humans. In a widely-shared study, the US digital marketing agency Graphite showed that while over half of all web content is now written by AI, the growth had plateaued since May 2024. It hypothesised that the reason for this was that it had found in a separate study that AI-generated articles largely did not appear in Google and ChatGPT.
